Application & Recruitment Process
To those interested in applying to Sigma Pi Sigma, we're excited to have you! As a newer organization, recruitment means a lot to us and we want everyone to be aware of the process and hard deadlines.
Fall Recruitment Timeline
Application
9/22
Enormous Activities Fair Booth
Come find our booth and visit us at the Enormous Activities Fair to learn more, meet members, and get involved. Fill out our interest form and our application will open Friday 9/25.
9/28 - Meet the Board
9/29 - Info Night
9/30 - Physics Night!
Round 1 Events
Applicants are required to come to 2 of these three events, you will meet our board and the other applicants & learn more about Sigma Pi Sigma and our community!

10/02
Round 1 Decisions Released
After deliberation amongst our board, we will send out decisions regarding who will be moving forward to the interview round.
10/3 & 10/4
Interviews
Applicants in the second round will have an interview with 2-3 board members where we will discuss further details of your application and get to know you a bit better.
10/5
Final Decisions Released
Our final Fall class will be selected! We are so excited to meet you all and get this year started!
Spring Recruitment Cycle
If you applied to our organization during our Fall Recruitment cycle and received rejection, please don't be discouraged and know that persistence in joining is absolutely taken into account! You don't have to wait until next year to apply again either–we have another opportunity for you to apply again mid-year and be involved going forward! This cycle will occur during the beginning of Spring Quarter and will allow these members to participate in our annual Induction Ceremony the following year. Make sure to follow our instagram linked in our contact page so you don't miss any information, and feel free to show up to any of our events that are open to the physics community in general. For those events, the more the merrier!
