Our annual ceremony to induct our new members into the organization is a big part of joining Sigma Pi Sigma! Typically held in the Ackerman Ballroom, this ceremony consists of good food, a keynote speaker as well as speeches from the board, and signing of the Red Book. The Red Book signing ceremony has done by every member in UCLA's Sigma Pi Sigma, going back decades. Along with membership to the honors society, students will also receive free SPS and National Sigma Pi Sigma pins, the recent edition of the SPS Observer, access to graduation stoles, and more.

In addition to the formal ceremony, there is typically a small, more casual after celebration to welcome the newly inducted members.
